Leading expert in drug delivery device technology and high-end development processes, Andrei applies his industry insight to steer forward Sorrel’s multidisciplinary team. He served in several executive positions at Q Core for a decade, before taking the helm at Sorrel. Andrei holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and an MA in Mechanical Engineering, both from the Technion – Israel Institute of technology.
With more than 10 years of experience in the field of finance, Barak Dvir acts as Sorrel Medical's Chief Financial Officer while also representing Eitan Group's legal division. Prior to this position, he was the controller at Gilat Satellite Ltd., a senior accountant at KPMG Israel, and a controller and cost accountant at IBM Israel. Barak is a certified public accountant and holds an MBA in Business Administration from the College of Management.
Leveraging 15 years of commercial development experience in the wearable injector drug delivery industry and over 25 years of experience in managing global business development, sales and marketing strategies, Michael Ratigan acts as the Chief Commercial Officer of Sorrel Medical. Michael Ratigan is a global leader in contract development and manufacturing services for the medical / drug delivery markets. He served as the vice president of global sales and marketing at Molex company, Phillips-Medisize. Michael acted as the senior vice president and CCO at Unilife Corporation, a provider of injectable drug delivery systems. Additionally, he served as a worldwide business platform leader at Becton Dickinson (BD).
Director of Operations
Udi Mustachi is the Director of Operations of Sorrel Medical. Udi brings over 20 years of experience in leading operational processes, establishing production and operational systems, managing profit and loss units, improving and optimizing organizational processes and performance. Prior to this role, Udi was the Operations Manager at Autocool, managing of production departments TFI, quality control, procurement and warehousing, including supplier management and change of cross-organizational processes. Prior to Autocool, Udi was the Director of Production in Nestle. Udi holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, specializing in Information Systems, Technion.
With a comprehensive command of connected medical devices and software development, Arik heads the implementation of Sorrel’s innovative technology vision. For over 30 years, he served in various leadership positions as R&D and product manager, including CTO at Q Core and Director of Product Management at Gilat Satellite Networks. He is the co-founder of Nice Systems and NiceCom, acquired by 3Com. Arik holds an MA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University, and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University.
PhD, Director of R&D
Ori heads Sorrel’s research and development programs, applying his extensive hands-on expertise in medical device innovation. Prior to joining the Sorrel executive team, Ori served as Manager of Research and Mechanics at Q Core Medical, and R&D Director at Bmax. He holds a PhD in Energy, and an MSc and BSc in Mechanical Engineering, all from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Director of Product
Leading the marketing, product management and business development activities at Sorrel, Mindy applies her business acumen, industry insight, and thought leadership to define features and functions of Sorrel's products, while overseeing business relations with Sorrel's partners. She previously served as Program Manager at Q Core Medical, where she worked across multidisciplinary teams, building structured and collaborative partnerships between companies in the world of drug delivery. Mindy holds a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
PhD, Chairman of the Board
Passionate about technological innovation and the owner of more than 80 registered patents, Boaz serves as Chairman of the Board at Sorrel. He is deeply involved in the company’s ongoing operations, sharing his visionary insight to propel product innovation and growth. Boaz also heads Q Core Medical as CEO, owner, and Chairman. Prior to his acquisition of Q Core Medical, he held several executive positions in the semiconductor industry, including an 11-year tenure in Silicon Valley. He founded Saifun Semiconductors based on his proprietary invention NROM memory technology, leading the company’s IPO on NASDAQ followed by a merger with Spansion Semiconductors. Today, products applying this technology account for over $2B in annual sales. Boaz holds a PhD and MSc in Applied Physics, and a BSc in Physics and Mathematics- all from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Chairman of the Eitan Group
The life force behind Sorrel’s business strategy and regulatory approach, Tally is highly experienced in counseling innovation companies in complex aspects of technology, law, and business. She is the Chairman of the Eitan Group, President of Q Core Medical, and a technology transaction lawyer with vast involvement in California and Israel, founder of the leading Israeli commercial law firm Eitan, Mehulal & Sadot Advocates and Patent Attorneys. Tally is renowned as one of Israel’s most prominent intellectual property lawyers, and holds a BS in Statistics and a JD, both from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
A renowned opinion leader in the world of drug delivery devices, Kevin has joined the Sorrel Board of Directors to provide guidance on operations, market challenges, and next-frontier technologies. Previously he held positions with the Stevanato Group as Vice President of Drug Delivery Systems, and with Insulet Corporation as Vice President of Business Development and Advanced Technology, Vice President of Manufacturing and Vice President of Operations and Engineering. Kevin currently serves as COO at Common Sensing, and holds an MBA from Sacred Heart University, and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.
Shaul has gained a unique interdisciplinary background in technology, finance, and marketing, a diversified skill set that he shares to guide Sorrel as a board member. His knowledge also expands into smart medical devices, infusion market landscape, and business strategy leadership. Shaul currently serves as CEO of Avoset Health, and in the past served as COO at Q Core Medical, where he led the Marketing and Operations activities. Shaul holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Driven by her extensive knowhow in patents and technological innovation, Anat’s guidance is imperative for the Sorrel IP portfolio. She is an accomplished electrical engineer, also experienced in VLSI circuit design and in-house patent administration. Anat is a registered US Patent Agent, holding an MA in Patent Law from Haifa University, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
A key leader in the semiconductor capital equipment industry for over three decades, Ken serves on the Board of Directors at Sorrel, where he offers his vast business perspective and profound understanding of the global technological arena. Ken has held several key positions in diverse fields, and is a Director Emeritus on the Board of Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Institute (SEMI). Ken is also the founder of KLA Instruments Corporation. He holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from City College of New York.
Igal’s business acumen is indispensable for the Sorrel team, and he has joined the company’s Board of Directors to drive company growth. Igal serves as CFO at Kenshoo, is the Managing Director at Aulder Capital (formerly BZ Investment LLC), and is a Member of the Board at Q Core Medical and Kando Clear Upstream. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Accounting and Economics, both from Tel Aviv University.
